Per the official blog post, users’ Instagram usernames and verification will carry over to Threads, meaning users don’t have to apply and pay for verification separately. Before proceeding with the steps, users should ensure that everything is correct in their username, profile name, date of birth, and profile picture, as once the process starts, they won’t be able to change anything.
Get Meta Verified For A Checkmark On Threads
Meta Verified costs $14.99/month for Android and iOS in the United States. To subscribe, open Instagram on Android or iOS and hit the profile picture in the bottom right corner.
